FedComp and COVID-19 Message
Dear FedComp Client,
As you are well aware, the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is a serious pandemic that is affecting all of us. FedComp is taking the following internal steps to limit the spread of the virus:
–working remotely. The majority of our employees work remotely already. If any of our non-remote employee needs to work remotely due to illness or potential shutdown and closures, FedComp has continuity plans in place to support this. Our clients will not be affected by our employees working from home.
–cloud based infrastructure. FedComp’s internal infrastructure is safely housed in our data center so our internal performance is not affected by our employees working remotely.
–Temporary Pause on all domestic and international travel. FedComp has imposed a moratorium on all employee travel until further notice.
We encourage you to follow guidelines issues by the CDC and WHO, including:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Cover your cough of sneeze with a tissue or flexed elbow
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces in your credit union and shared work spaces
- Do not go to work if you are sick
We acknowledge the severity of this pandemic and the safety of our employees and clients is paramount. We will continue to monitor the course of this situation and will be sending updates as the information becomes available.
