Position 2 Overview

This person is responsible for the completion of credit union activities for hosted clients as directed by the Manager of Hosted Services. They will perform daily retrieval and application of files for ACH, share drafts and ATM/debit postings with accuracy and timeliness as defined in credit union processing profiles. They are to complete other recurring file postings as defined by credit union processing profiles. They must be able to clearly communicate any processing delays to credit union staff and hosted services staff and provide first tier response for hosted client support inquiries related to daily file postings. Participation in period end processes as directed and participate in the general support queue, addressing FedComp in-house user questions concerning the FedComp application features. This position reports to the Manager of Hosted Services. They also qualify for job sharing; meaning the position can be shared by full-time or part-time staffers and split shifts as well.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assisting in the retrieval and posting of electronic files (EFT).
  • Generate for and communicate to credit union all exception reports
  • Follow processing profiles for individual credit unions and maintain login credential documentation needed for CU processing profiles.
  • Respond to credit union concerns and queries professionally both verbal and written.
  • Maintain a positive and productive relationship with our staff and customers
  • Be proactive in bringing to the attention of management any issues regarding hosted services processing efficiencies.
  • Ability to build business relationships with credit unions and third party processors
  • Open to learning new skills/positions within the company as well as open to new responsibilities

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Excellent communications; written and verbal; skills
  • Detail oriented, including style, format, language use and visual appearance
  • Proficient in EFT regulations and processing rules
  • Highly proficient in financial services operations and terminology
  • Problem solving skills, works under pressure, and meets aggressive deadlines
  • Working knowledge of PC technologies and EFT applications
  • Minimum 2year experience in credit union management, Data Center experience,or comparable experience
  • FedComp Experience a plus
